In 2014, the AAMD released a report on salary data based on information from 200 members- and the results were precisely as depressing as you'd imagine. In March, 2017, they released a follow-up report, "The Ongoing Gender Gap in Art Museum Directorships." The summary of their report and a link to the full document can be found here.
